Working on highly complex mechanical surface science instrumentation for distribution into a worldwide market. Working to detailed instruction sheets and ensuring record keeping in accordance to ISO9001 / 13485.

This position will include working in clean areas, UHV clean and electro polishing.

Responsible to the Assembly Supervisor/Manager for :

·The build & assembly of parts and assemblies to drawing standards.

·The verification of parts against the appropriate drawings and/or standards which apply.

·Low level wiring of parts & assemblies.

·The correct use of tools and processes.

·To adhere to product specific procedures and completing quality records.

·To raise NCR / DCR for problem and failure reporting, suggesting and implementing improvements where appropriate.

·Adhering to standards ISO9001/13485

·To raise a DCR for corrective action, e.g. drawings / SAMI sheets.

·To raise NCR for defective parts.

Qualifications: (E/D)

·Evidenced time served mechanical fitter or equivalent experience / qualification. (D)

·Proven experience of the assembly of complex equipment (D)
